This has been a good year for the world of gaming and adding to that, we will see the worldwide release of the next title in Sega classic series Yakuza. Yakuza: Like a Dragon has already released in Japan for the PS4 and is set to hit the stores worldwide on the 10th of November. However, it is only for the PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions of the title. As for the PS5, fans will have to wait until March next year.

It is not all bad news though. PlayStation 5 users will be able to, for the time being, buy the PS4 version and later upgrade it to the next-gen version in March 2021. There are two free upgrade options available for this. Players can replace the digital copy of the PS4 version with the PS5 version for free. Moeover, RGG Studios posted a tweet recently about upgrading the physical copies of the title.

Like A Dragon upgrade option will be available not only to the PS5 but to the Xbox Series X/ Series S consoles as well
The upgrade option will also be available for Xbox users, and smart delivery will take care of it. It will enable users to take the Xbox One version of the title to the Xbox Series S, or the Series X version. RGG has provided really easy upgrade options to both the consoles, making sure nobody misses out on this latest installment of the classic series from Sega.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon features a major change in the gameplay structure. Rather than the classic beat ’em up gameplay, Like A Dragon will have turn-based RPG gameplay. Fans from Japan have given a generally positive review for the title already. As for the rest of us, it will be a long wait till November, but hopefully worth it.
