While the left-handed Kerber has a better serve but Wozniacki is capable of pulling of crucial serves at the right time. Also, Kerber hits the ball hard and has a dominant baseline playing style, Wozniacki is better at the net.

Both the players have had a comfortable run at the tournament so far, with Wozniacki dropping one set in the first round, though the German is yet to drop a set. Kerber leads their head-to-head tally 7-5.

Though Pliskova has shown improvement in the past few months, Serena is capable of pulling off a winner at intense stages in a Grand Slam. Both of them have had convincing wins in the tournament so far, dropping just one set en route to the semi-final. Pliskova also ousted Serena’s sister- Venus Williams.

Both have played just one match against each other in the past at Stanford where Serena won 7-5 6-2

PREDICTION: WILLIAMS WINS IN 2 SETS.
