Lou Ferrigno once revealed in an Instagram post how his disabilities could not hold him back from chasing his goals. After his venture into acting with roles such as ‘The Incredible Hulk’, the retired bodybuilder has been an inspiration to both bodybuilders and fans of the big green monster.
In the Instagram post, Ferrigno recalled an incident from a competition that he had partaken in when he was 20 years old. Overcoming an unprecedented obstacle, the athlete was able to overcome his weakness and emerge victorious. That day remains etched in history as a testament to his passion.

Lou Ferrigno in his glory days won the IFBB twice in a row. In his Instagram post, he talked about an incident that happened while he was competing in New York. His hearing aid had stopped working in the midst of the competition.

“I was 20 years old here competing in NY. Nervous and my hearing aid went out. I couldn’t hear a thing.” said the actor. Regardless of his disability, he went on to lead a successful career throughout his life.

Lou Ferrigno has dealt with hearing issues since a young age
Due to ear infections, he began to experience deafness as a youngster and has now lost 80% of his auditory perception. Ferrigno started using hearing aids when he was just four years old.
Ferrigno has been an inspiration to aspiring bodybuilders. His disability never stopped him from anything. Even that day all those years back, Ferrigno held his nerves in the tensest situation. He showed the world what he is capable of and that he is never to be taken lightly, and that nothing can hold him back.
