While we enjoy it thinking no one is getting hurt- the actors are just faking it. What if that’s not the case? What if the punch is real?

The time when the World’s Scariest Man punched a UFC Legend

Martyn Ford, also nicknamed ‘The Nightmare’, was once an aspiring cricketer. But when injuries came in between his dreams, he turned his life around. He is now a top bodybuilder and a successful actor. Ford has had an insane body transformation- from being a 17-year-old lanky teenager to now being called the ‘World’s Scariest Man.’

But sometimes Ford isn’t aware of the power he holds, or at least his punch possesses. In an episode of the ‘Believe You Me‘ podcast, retired UFC star, Michael Bisping revealed what it was like to be punched by Ford.

For the unversed, Martyn Ford and Michael Bisping have been working on a movie together. We think the punches and fight scenes in movies are all just for show. However, the one Bisping received from Ford while filming a fight scene for his upcoming movie was very real.

Describing the ordeal, Bisping said, “He’s a gigantic human being, and he punched me in the jaw right. And I still, and this is like six-seven weeks, about six weeks ago now, I still can’t bite properly, it’s that jaws all still swollen at the back.”

Who is Martyn Ford?

Born in Staffordshire, England, Martyn Ford is a bodybuilder, fitness influencer, and successful actor. It is because of his multiple ventures that he has now become an internet sensation with around 3.7 million followers.

Still going strong at the age of 40, Ford loves participating in a bodybuilding competition. It doesn’t come as a surprise that he wins most of them. Martyn Ford has also signed a professional MMA contract with KSW.
