Ryan Lochte is a name that needs no introduction when it comes to swimming. He is a 12-time Olympic medalist. Lochte holds world records in the 200-meter individual medley, 4×200-meter freestyle, and 4×100-meter freestyle relay. Lochte has won a total of 90 medals in major international competitions, which includes Olympics, the World Championships, Pan American Games, and Pan Pacific Championships.

Ryan Lochte lost it all!

The swimming champion shares in an interview in 2021 how he went from making millions to not having anything at all! He had some really high-profile sponsors like Ralph Lauren and Speedo that dropped him. This led to Lochte losing around $1 million.

Talking about the incident, he says, “I went from making millions to zero. Something could have ended my life because I was stupid.” He also shares how he regrets past mistakes and goes on to say he is a different person now.

Lochte says, “The person that I am today, if I saw that Ryan Lochte, I would knock his a*** out. There’s so much more to life. Wake up.” He says he is committed to not making the same mistakes and again and has learned a lot through those harrowing experiences.

Ryan Lochte is known for numerous television appearances throughout his career. Lochte appeared in 30 Rock as an exaggerated version of him. He also played a supporting role in ‘Little Something for Your Birthday.’ He has also participated in ‘Celebrity Big Brother.’ Fans also saw him in some other shows like ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ and ‘Back in the Game.’
