Jan Scherrer is a name that recently garnered a lot of attention after winning the bronze medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. He began snowboarding at the age of seven. He is a three-time Olympian and has represented Switzerland at 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics. Scherrer also won two bronze medals earlier in the 2021 Aspen World Championships and the 2020 Aspen Winter X Games.

Jan Scherrer fulfills a bet from his wife!

Scherrer shared a hilarious incident on his Instagram. His wife dared him to get a tattoo of her choice if he won a medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. The snowboarding star wrote his wife’s words in the caption, “if you win a medal in Beijing, you have to get a tattoo of my choosing.”

She, however, does mention that the drawing is inspired by the great visual artist @hillergoodspeed. The tattoo also sports the words “Good but not the best” on the top of the drawing.

Scherrer is looking to build a solid career in snowboarding

Jan Scherrer is still pretty young and has an entire career lying ahead of him. After winning his first medal at the Beijing Olympics, he is now looking to add many more. His training regime includes trampolining, jogging, and gym work.
