Usain Bolt, the fastest man in history, continues to make the news despite his retirement five years ago in 2017. Ever since the Jamaican retired, the Olympic legend and NFL star Tyreek Hill have been teasing a potential sprint contest.

However, before that happens, if ever, Bolt will be participating in UNICEF’s biggest celebrity football match. Captaining the Soccer Aid World XI, Usain Bolt will be competing against popstar Liam Payne’s England XI for charity.

In a recent interview, Bolt shared his outlook on retirement, and how his time off the track has been going.

In an interview with Antoine Allen for ITV News, Usain Bolt talked about retirement and getting away from the track. Furthermore, he also talked about how, over the years, he felt star-struck meeting his heroes.

Bolt said, “For me, it’s easy. I just moved on to another chapter in my life…I think I still demand the same energy, (I’m the) same person where I go, I still meet people and we still hang out take pictures.”

Then, Bolt expressed how he was happy in retirement. However, there are still times when he reminisces about the past. “I still miss it sometimes, just watching the competition.”

“But I do enjoy the fact that I’m retired,” Bolt finished with a chuckle.

Living in Jamaica after retirement, Bolt has recently forayed into the music industry. Last year, he released his first album titled ‘Country Yutes’.

He appreciated the love his music received from the people of Jamaica as well. “Music has always been a part of my DNA,” Bolt said. “If you’ve followed my career over the years, you’ve probably noticed that I’m always dancing and listening to music.”
