One of the eight PBR teams, the Texas Rattlers, features Brazilian cowboy Rafael Jose de Brito. Fans of Sunday night’s spectacular PBR World Finals swarmed the organization’s social media post, congratulating the cowboy with heartfelt remarks.

On Sunday, the whole stadium seemed to be keeping an eye on Rafael Jose de Brito. UTB World Finals Round 7 pitted the Brazilian cowboy against the Red Mosquito. While Red Mosquito isn’t currently ranked as a top bull, his 60% buck-off rate puts him in the discussion. With scores of 89.25 in Round 5 and 88.50 in Round 6, Brito was clearly someone who was serious about his riding. The Brazilian cowboy was well aware of how crucial every point is in the world championships.

The metal chute had been removed, and now the Brazilian cowboy was perched on Red Mosquito in the arena’s bright lighting. In an already tense situation, the bull immediately tried to buck off Brito. Brito, though, was not someone to let the championship slip through his fingers. The bull attempted to buck Brito off 14 times, but he stayed on every single time. Judges were so amazed that they gave him 88.25 points for the ride. The arena went absolutely wild when a new bull-riding world champion was crowned, and he was none other than Rafael Jose de Brito.

The Brazilian cowboy’s army of fans showed up in the comments of a Texas Rattlers’ Facebook post after it went viral, congratulating him on his World Championship triumph. On Sunday night, Rafael Jose de Brito became the 2023 PBR World Champion, the UTB World Finals Champion, the 2023 Rookie of the Year, and the favorite of bull-riding enthusiasts everywhere.

As the whole tournament was an epic showdown, this fan commented, saying, “This was amazing to watch!! Congratulations.” Among all the congratulations that the cowboy has received, this comment read, “Absolutely amazing!!!! Congrats champ!”
This comment is proof of how Brito was able to completely rush to the top of the rankings, as it read, “Wasn’t even being talked about til yesterday. It was all Lemme and Silva.” Another fan commented, saying, “Honored to have met you yesterday, Rafael! Congratulations!!”
