On Sunday, the whole stadium seemed to be keeping an eye on Rafael Jose de Brito. UTB World Finals Round 7 pitted the Brazilian cowboy against the Red Mosquito. While Red Mosquito isn’t currently ranked as a top bull, his 60% buck-off rate puts him in the discussion. With scores of 89.25 in Round 5 and 88.50 in Round 6, Brito was clearly someone who was serious about his riding. The Brazilian cowboy was well aware of how crucial every point is in the world championships.

The metal chute had been removed, and now the Brazilian cowboy was perched on Red Mosquito in the arena’s bright lighting. In an already tense situation, the bull immediately tried to buck off Brito. Brito, though, was not someone to let the championship slip through his fingers. The bull attempted to buck Brito off 14 times, but he stayed on every single time. Judges were so amazed that they gave him 88.25 points for the ride. The arena went absolutely wild when a new bull-riding world champion was crowned, and he was none other than Rafael Jose de Brito.
