Bull riding is a very dangerous sport. The spectators in the arena get their fill of excitement watching the cowboys risk their lives riding bulls that weigh 10 times as much as a rider. A cowboy’s life is on the line in the sport of bull riding, where the outcome hinges on the animal’s behavior once the metal chutes are opened. Jose Vitor Leme, a Brazilian cowboy, and two-time PBR world champion, is famous for his incredible achievements across the globe. Some of these achievements, however, almost cost the cowboy his life.
PBR just shared a video on their social media account, and it quickly went viral. The internet sensation was warranted since it demonstrated the inherent dangers of bull riding.

A nightmare of bull riding that can come true anytime
With “The Ride” now available to watch on Amazon Prime, PBR released a preview of the program, which is anticipated by many viewers. However, the footage demonstrates how quickly things can change in the sport, which should scare everyone watching from the stands. One of Jose Vitor Leme’s most popular performances as the two-time PBR world champion is seen here. To win, the cowboy needed 90 points, which meant he had to hit a flawless 8-second buzzer. Before the metal chutes were removed, Leme realized it was all or nothing. As soon as the metal chutes were removed, the bull charged to the center of the arena, where it attempted to buck off the Brazilian cowboy. The audience went berserk as the eight-second bell approached, so every second counted. Everything was going well until the last second before the buzzer. The Brazilian cowboy was thrown off the bull when he lost his footing, but the animal continued on and smacked the cowboy as he tried to get up. When they saw the two-time world champion hurt on the ground, the cheering audience fell quiet.
