Of course, there has to be a reason for Pulisic to be so infatuated with the bishop. However, if there is, it certainly eludes the soccer player. “I don’t think there’s a specific reason,” he explained.

“I don’t know why- the look of it, or the way it moves, I just like the bishop,” Pulisic expressed.

He praised Pulisic for “stopping every single threat that Magnus is creating”. While Carlsen’s app version kept pushing pawns on Christian, the soccer player kept blocking them.

“I think this is one of the best games we’ve seen from anyone challenging Play Magnus, Magnus aged 10,” Howell raved on. Moreover, he also stated that had there been five minutes left on the clock, he would have banked on Christian.
