Joc Pederson makes history with the Atlanta Braves

Since making his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2014, the 29-year-old established himself as a fine hitter. Last year, Pederson won his maiden World Series with the Dodgers after they beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 in the best-of-seven series.

On February 5, 2021, Pederson moved to the Chicago Cubs in search of more playing time. However, they traded the 29-year-old to the Braves midway through the season in exchange for Bryce Ball, a minor league prospect. Although the Braves lost their hitting star Ronald Acuña Jr. to injury, Pederson filled in as a leadoff hitter extremely well.
