He made Chan go through the training session even though he was sick.?You didn?t defy the master, though. I got up and did it. Then he made me do one hundred right leg thrusts, followed by one hundred left flying kicks, then one hundred right flying kicks. My whole body ached. After I finished, he said, ?Do you feel better?? If I didn?t say yes, he?d make me train harder. So, immediately, I cried, ?Yes, much better!? From then on, every single kid in the school didn?t dare get sick,??said Chan.

The cost of Chan’s absurd stunts

Chan had a reputation for doing his stunts on his own, even though they came at a steep price.

It’s not like the legend enjoyed being in the hospital most of the time, but given that the technology wasn’t advanced enough to use CGI he had to perform the stunts all on his own. As a result, Chan has broken basically every bone inside his body once or twice.
