Martial arts legend Bruce Lee had to face a lot of problems during his career. While he was just starting to get some training from his master, Ip Man, he faced a lot of hurdles. One of the hurdles was his dance partner. The legend desired a successful martial arts career, but she desired him to be his cha-cha dance partner.

In the Netflix series, ‘The Legend of Bruce Lee’, episode 3, the troubles were revealed, which Lee faced with his dance partner. She puts him in an awkward situation while wanting him to continue dancing with her. But the legend was already under the tutelage of Ip Man, which was like a blessing for him.
The Cha-Cha problem for Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee was already at odds with his master Ip Man because he wanted to learn Kung Fu, but Man insisted on him first mastering the basics, which he had already done. Lee was triggered, but he had no choice but to follow his master. As if this problem wasn’t big enough for the legend, his dance partner came in with the cha-cha show.?

?And I told you that I was no longer interested in cha-cha. I can?t. I mean it,? Lee said to his dance partner when she confronted him. Lee already told his dance partner that he has no interest in the show and doesn’t want to continue, but she had other plans. This put Lee in an awkward situation.

She went to Lee’s friend, who then confronted him about the situation too. Lee had the same answer again.??It?s just a show. I?m the cha-cha champion. What?s the point of taking part in this? Did you know that I?ve become Master Ip?s apprentice? I don?t want a cha-cha show, to interfere with my training with Master Ip,??Lee said.
Lee was already the cha-cha champion in the school, so he didn’t feel any reason to compete again. Although the main reason for his decline was that he just wanted to dedicate himself to the training of his master. After all, being the disciple of a renowned martial arts trainer was pretty tough during those days. Lee didn’t want to lose the opportunity he had received, so he had to put a frog in his mouth and deny the cha-cha show.?
The relationship between Lee and his master
In his early days of training, Bruce Lee was dissatisfied with his master, Ip Man. Lee already knew a lot of the basics of martial arts, so he wanted to jump into the more advanced things. Although Ip Man denied it, he made Lee learn all the basics from scratch. This made Lee unhappy; he even confronted his master about it, but he always got denied.

Ip Man had a plan for Bruce Lee and he always made him practice the horse stance because Lee was the only one who could master it out of everyone else. Ip Man was sure about Lee, and the rest is history. Bruce Lee, the godfather of MMA, is still known for his defensive fighting style. His foundation, Jeet Kune Do, paved the way for the modern scene of MMA.
