

A legend in skateboarding, his documentary coming out soon, and now a presenter at the Oscars. Tony Hawk really has it all. Even at the age of 53, Tony is still madly in the love with skateboarding. It’s almost as if he has devoted his entire life to the sport.

The trailer for his documentary “Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off” is already out and it will release on April 5, 2022. However, right before his trailer release, the skateboarder suffered a serious femur injury, and he is currently recovering from it. Given his age, it’ll certainly take some time to heal, but the legend remains in the best of the spirits as always.

Tony Hawk revealed he once stalked Nicolas Cage
The birdman revealed how he was accidentally stalking the actor Nicolas Cage during South by Southwest festival. He said, “Somehow, I was always on the exact same schedule as Nicolas Cage and so every time we go to an interview; I was right ahead of him or right behind him. And at the end of the day, I was behind him cause I was just always trying to get out of the car. It was funny because we were trailing Nicolas Cage all day.”

Tony further added, “we had a brief discussion and told him how I dressed up as him from ‘wild at heart’ for the Halloween. I just told him I want to show this photo from Halloween 10 years ago and he said that’s Sailor and Lula, like we didn’t know.”

From skateboarding to the red carpet
On Sunday, Tony Hawk will hang out with his two best buddies Shaun White and Kelly Slater at the Oscars. The 53-year-old skateboarding icon has been given the honor of being a presenter at the Oscars and he seems to be really excited about it. He shared the news on his tweeter handle, taking a dig at people for whom the news was shocking.
If being in every Jackass movie, xXx, Police Academy 4 and Sharknado 5 doesn’t qualify me to present at the Oscars, then your taste in movies needs readjusting.
