Dave Portnoy is having a tough time coming to terms with the reality. The Cincinnati Bengals have suffered another massive blow, and it looks like their most pivotal player is out for the rest of the season. Amidst the New England Patriots’ poor form, Portnoy has been standing firm behind the Bengals this season. He even put a massive wager ahead of the Cincinnati team’s clash against the Ravens, only to cry foul play after their loss yesterday.

Now, Joe Burrow‘s wrist injury looks to make things worse for Dave. The QB had to leave the match during the second quarter due to his “sprained” wrist. With the injury being kept under the radar by the Cincinnati Bengals, Portnoy believes an investigation should be imminent to protect the integrity of the sport.

Portnoy demands immediate action against the Bengals

The Ravens thrashed the Bengals 34-20 and Dave’s $120,000 was rendered meaningless. While the Barstool Sports owner thought that one lost battle didn’t mean the end of the war, Burrow’s injury added more misery to his plight. After learning about the seriousness of the wrist injury of the QB, Portnoy has taken to social media to vent his frustration at the authorities. “I DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION!“, Portnoy rage-typed in his post on X, formerly Twitter.

Portnoy thinks that the NFL should take notice of Burrow’s injury being hushed up prior to the match. A social media post was deleted after being posted by the Bengals that showed Burrow with a soft cast around his wrist. During the match, Burrow looked to stutter with his throws and had to leave the match mid-way. Only then, it was revealed by the Bengals coach that Burrow had a wrist injury. It was later announced that Burrow might be out for good for the rest of the season altogether. Now, Portnoy has claimed that an investigation is necessary to ensure “THE INTEGRITY OF THE NFL AND AMERICA“.
