The world’s richest man has also shared the three secrets to his weight loss success.

Elon Musk shared weight-loss secrets

On November 16, a Twitter user pointed out how Elon has lost a lot of weight with a before-after style image. Elon replied to the tweet with, “Down 30 lbs!”. After Elon’s reply, another user asked Elon how he had dropped so much weight. The multi-billionaire revealed three things that helped him lose 30 lbs. He wrote, “Fasting + Ozempic/Wegovy + no tasty food near me”

Elon put on considerable weight in recent years and has been trying to lose weight for at least a few months. In August, the owner of Tesla tweeted about fasting. Elon revealed he had been fasting on the advice of a friend. Musk also explained he had been feeling healthier since fasting and lost over 20 lbs. However, Musk didn’t mention weight loss drugs in an August tweet.

After Musk’s most recent tweet about weight loss, another Twitter user asked, “Bruh, I also take Ozempic for my diabeetus. Does it give you those nasty burps too? Tastes like rotten eggs lol ugh,”. Musk replied, “Yeah, next-level” The FDA approved Semaglutide (Ozempic) in 2017 as a drug to control type 2 diabetes. They also approved the Wegovy (semaglutide) injection in 2021 for weight management in adults.

However, Elon seems to have difficulty controlling himself around tasty food, so he stays away from it.

While many fans praised Elon’s weight loss, some didn’t pass up the opportunity to try and troll the multi-billionaire. Many users referenced how much Musk had spent to buy Twitter, while others were critical of his use of weight loss drugs.

Musk also received a backlash after announcing Twitter Blue, which will relaunch on November 29.
