The 2023–2024 Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup is all set in motion, welcoming the best of the skiers for a chance at the crystal globe. Beginning on October 28th, the season has seen thrill and shifts with every race. Today, the season has raced through 2 venues and one washout to be in the USA for the next exciting ride. Mikaela Shiffrin, winning over the latest venue and back in her home country is nothing but geared up.
The Killington stop reveals itself to be bigger than the stop for the World Cup. Filled with celebration of history and passion, the Stifel Killington Cup rises to host entertainment ahead of the races. Following the tradition, the venue embraced an exciting night filled with amusement and fun. Mikaela Shiffrin, who joined in on the same, was presented with a little surprise for the day ahead.

The Stifel US Ski Team presented a fun-filled evening at Killington before the races. The organization’s Instagram team ensured not to leave the online spectators out of the entertainment, with constant updates on the platform. Among the many occasions, the 2X Olympian made a presence on the page to receive love and a little surprise. “BIB Draw + a special surprise for Mikaela,” the story captioned as the crowd roared in the background over Shiffrin’s entry.
A moment after interacting with the audience, the alpine skiing icon was presented with a ‘key to the superstar chairlift.’ Happy to be on the receiving end, Shiffrin had an interesting answer. “This is such a bad idea,” the skier said as she hugged the presenter. The next day, Shiffrin would be climbing the steep of the Killington Mountain Ski Resort to maintain her position and add another win.

The skiing showdown at Killington
Entering the 4th stop of the World Cup, Mikaela Shiffrin positions herself atop the world standings. With 190 points to her name, Shiffrin leads Petra Vlhová by 30. The Slovakian skiing giant is believed to be Mikaela’s biggest competition as the two head forward. For now, the Olympian owns two giant slalom season titles while Vlhová looks forward to securing a first. During the first stop in Sölden, Vlhová placed third in Giant Slalom and, for the American skiing star, a win was crowned in Levi.
