On June 6th, 2023, Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg launched another novel app called ‘meta-threads.’ The app raised worldwide controversy for its similarities with Twitter. However, the app is joined by many famous celebrities across the world, including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, soccer player Richarlison, and many more famous personalities and prominent political figures.

Along with them, the alpine queen Mikaela Shiffrin also joined the app and shared it with her fans on Instagram. She also started her broadcast channel on meta-threads along with many more celebrities and content creators. Recently, the meta team sent a heartwarming present to the alpine queen which she shared with her fans.

Mikaela Shiffrin receives gift from Meta

Mikaela Shiffrin is not just an Alpine skiing racer but she is also counted as one of the 100 most influential people of 2023. On 12th July, Shiffrin added one more feather to her hat by winning the ESPY award for best athlete in women’s sport which was celebrated by everyone including the meta team. The meta-threads team sent flowers and a heartfelt note to Shiffrin honoring her incredible victory which she shared on her Instagram story.

“Mikaela, Congratulations on your well deserved ESPY award!,” said the meta team. They also stirred up her spirits by saying, “You are such a force and we can’t wait to see how you’ll continue to raise the bar and change the game! Best, Liz and your friends at Meta.” Mikaela appreciated their efforts and wrote “Thank you” to the meta team. However, a few days back the athlete made a witty comment about the list of thread accounts.
