When you have conquered the slopes across the world as a prolific alpine skiing champion, it is hard to stay out of the spotlight. For Lindsey Vonn, that meant a lot of media attention on her relationships with other sports personalities. The skiing legend dated Tiger Woods, which made headlines for years.

But that doesn’t mean every male personality she is friends with was a love interest at some point. Sick of all the rumors, Vonn made a list of all the celebrities she hadn’t dated. And one name on that list is F1 racing star, Lewis Hamilton.

Tired of the media painting her friendship with every guy as a dating scandal, Lindsey Vonn used her YouTube platform to set the record straight in 2019. “Never dated Lewis Hamilton,” she explained with much gusto. “He likes snowboarding. I like skiing. He lives in Colorado. I live in Colorado. I like going fast. He likes going fast. We’re friends. We have a lot in common.”

In 2015, when Lindsey Vonn rushed over to congratulate Lewis Hamilton after his victory at the British Grand Prix, the media had a field day speculating about their relationship. With Vonn fresh off her split with Tiger Woods, it was the hottest gossip of the time.

“Pictures of us going in for a hug that look like we’re gonna make out? We’re going in for a hug, guys,” Vonn clarified. That’s right. What many assumed to be a peck on the cheek was really just trick photography. “That’s just an awkward camera angle. Never did anything.”

And just to be extra sure that she got her message across, the Olympic ski champion reiterated, “Lewis is 1000% just my friend. He always will be. He’s a great guy but definitely not my boyfriend. Ever. Never. Ever.”

Vonn had a few high-profile relationships

Somehow, on the list of people that Lindsey Vonn has NOT dated, a very young Justin Bieber was also included, along with Former US President George Bush! We’re sure that segment was just for fun. But the holder of four overall World Cup titles certainly has dated a few famous names.

The skiing icon married fellow alpine ski racer Thomas Vonn in 2007 until their divorce finalized in 2013. Shortly after, she began dating golfing legend Tiger Woods, but they split in 2015, citing their busy schedules as the reason, but both are still on good terms.

For a year, she dated Kenan Smith and even got engaged to ice hockey player P. K. Subban during their relationship from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, the Olympian has been linked to tequila company Lobos 1707 founder and executive Diego Osorio.
