Lindsey Vonn chips in on Schwarzenegger vs LeBron

As an avid lover of extreme sports and a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Lindsey Vonn spends a good chunk of her day in the gym. Naturally, this makes her more than qualified to referee the battle between bodybuilding champion Arnold Schwarzenegger and NBA legend LeBron James.

What is the scuffle about? The best music playlist for working out in the gym. Partnering up with Ladder, James and Schwarzenegger appeared in a promotional advertisement. Here, they duke it out over who can dominate the gym speakers with better music. And Vonn’s verdict announces the basket baller as the winner.

She wrote on Twitter, “I’m gonna have to side with @kingjames on this one, training to @djkhaled is the only way to go 🙌🏼 But all of us can agree that @weareladder makes sure we get the most out of our workout, no matter what we’re listening to while we do it 💪🏻”

Vonn loves listening to music when she works out

Lindsey Vonn has long established herself as a rap aficionado. In 2015, she responded to an inquiry into her music tastes on Twitter, writing“I workout to rap… Blessings is my favorite song right now but I like Kendrick Lamar, jayZ, Drake & lil Wayne.”

Right before the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, Vonn also talked to Billboard, revealing her workout playlist. It contained a lot of rap music with some pop sprinkled in there, featuring ZAYN, G-Eazy, O.T. Genasis, and N.E.R.D.

“‘Everybody Mad’ [by O.T. Genasis] helps me block out the haters. Sometimes I do feel like everybody is mad at me, but that’s life. You have to just be you,” she said. Music gets your blood pumping, and there’s no better way to get into the flow of a workout than to blast some sick beats. Apparently, “Arnold’s Iron Jams” just don’t do it for Vonn.
