Alpine Skiing Icon Lindsey Vonn Boldly Backs Her Beloved NFL Team in Latest Update

The celebrated Alpine skiing star and an established entrepreneur Lindsey Vonn, recently took to Instagram to share her presence at Sunday’s NFL match. The three-time Olympic gold medalist is not only a skiing enthusiast but a staunch supporter of the entire sports industry. 

Lindsey Vonn has previously been clicked at and with many of the sporting world celebrities and events. Celebrities like Roger Federer, Lewis Hamilton, and Magic Johnson, and events including the US Open, The President’s Cup, and more. You name it and she’s been there. And this time around the sports enthusiast was captured at Sunday’s exciting NFL match.

Lindsey Vonn updates her presence at the NFL

On Sunday, the 10th, Lindsey Von took to Instagram to share an update highlighting her presence at the NFL match between the Washington Commanders and the Arizona Cardinals. Vonn posted a story sharing a video of the commanders entering the match ground and tagging the team. 

However, Lindsey’s support wasn’t just for the players. In another one of her stories, the skiing star shared a post by Magic Johnson captioning “A great day with an incredible new ownership group!” Lindsey can be seen with Magic Johnson and his wife, the former of whom recently became a co-owner of the team.

To fans’ pleasure, Vonn’s update wasn’t only limited to a story. Lindsey also went ahead to post a thread showcasing the events of the day. Vonn can be seen enjoying her time at the games and spending time with the owners of the team.

Captioning the post, Lindsey wrote, “Happy to support my friends as the new owners of the @/commanders. Was pretty incredible to see the support of the community. Cheers to your future success 🥃 @/nfl.”  Lindsey’s support towards an NFL team on Sunday however, wasn’t a first time.

Skiing Star’s Association with the NFL Goes Way Back

Lindsey Vonn is a popular name in the sporting community. The skiing Champion is not only a three-time Olympic gold medalist but also a New York Times Best Seller, an entrepreneur, an investor, and the founder of the Lindsey Vonn Foundation. Throughout her career, Lindsey has shown her support to her community at any given opportunity. However, there is one team Lindsey Vonn is an absolute fan of The Denver Broncos.

Lindsey according to CBS Sports, moved to Colorado when she was 12, and ever since then, Lindsey has been a fan of the Broncos. Lindsey is known to have woken up early morning at 4:00 to catch up on a Bronco’s match even during one of her schedules.

In 2016, the skiing star also went backstage with her favorite team to show her support. Talking about the meeting, Lindsey said, “I love being out here and I love being around other athletes and watching them work. They’re a great team so it’s fun to watch them.”  Talking further about the team she enjoys watching being defeated by the Broncos, she added that she just enjoyed watching them win and it didn’t matter against whom. “I’m kind of the same way. Winning is winning.”

Though now retired, Lindsey doesn’t shy away from treading into a newer venture. Post-skiing the champion has always given people something to look forward to. With her constant presence around the sporting community, fans can only speculate about her next move.
