In a recently shared Instagram post, Lindsey Vonn talked about the second surgery done on her knee. Vonn spoke in detail about her ordeal and thanked her fans for sending their wishes via messages and comments. While many people wished her good health again, many major celebrities also joined the list of her well-wishers. ‘Deadpool’ fame Ryan Reynolds joined several others like Nicole Phelps and Allyson Felix to send a heartfelt message to Vonn.

Lindsey Vonn thanked the team of nurses who are looking after her via her Instagram post. She also thanked the specialist for helping her with her knee injury, along with Dr. Hackett for his constant care and for helping her determine how to best prevent further damage. The now-retired skier shared that while she had to undergo painful surgeries, her love for skiing never stopped her. Lindsey also mentioned that she will have to undergo another surgery in the coming days to put an end to her problem fully.

Answering the playful question, she said, “Finally… lots of people asked if I ate both pizzas lol. One Pizza was more than enough for me, but the other box was for the amazing nurses that took care of me.” Along with their wishes, fans also talked about their own stories of injuries in sports. They acknowledged the courage the former World Champion housed within herself.
