But today is a gift…” Further, in a comment after the post, she shared, “That’s why it’s called the present.” Surprisingly, this quote was also said by Eleanor Roosevelt, the former First lady of America. Continuing, Shiffrin spoke, “I think I like the mystery. Even though it feels I might pass out from the uncertainty sometimes.”

Further, in another comment, Shiffrin spoke, “That thought gives me hope for the first time since Feb 2, 2020.” On this fateful day, Mikaela Shiffrin’s father died, and she had considered quitting the sport then as per reports.
Later, Shiffrin indicated that she was grateful for her amazing performance and for not knowing what lay in the future. Reacting to her amazing post, fans congratulated her, telling her that she deserved the win after her hard work. Not only this, but her boyfriend Aleksander Aamodt Kilde also reacted through Instagram.
