When Dwayne was all praises for Lindsey Vonn

We’re all familiar with how many times Vonn has gotten injured. Each time she got injured, she made a comeback until she couldn’t. After permanently damaging her right knee, Vonn had to retire from the sport she loved. Professional athletes are often aware of each other’s battles. Similarly, Johnson was aware of what Vonn had been through. This instilled in Dwyane’s heart massive respect and adoration for the alpine skier.

Back in the year 2019, Johnson collaborated with Under Armour to create ‘Project Rock.’ It is a range of sportswear apparel and accessories. To celebrate the launch, Johnson announced the first global ambassador over social media. And it was none other than his close friend Lindsey Vonn, who he was all praises for.

Dwayne used the caption “proud to welcome Lindsey Vonn as our first ever Project Rock ambassador.” “A woman who I’ve known, admired and respected over the years. The hardest worker in the room. The best worker in the room,” he added.

Vonn can always count on ‘The Rock’

37-year-old Lindsey refers to Dwyane as somebody she can always rely on. She considers him a mentor and a friend. She said Dwyane is just the nicest person she has ever met. Vonn has learned a lot from him and thinks that he is just like the way he shows himself on TV. She thinks he has been “pretty outstanding” as she can call him anytime.

Looking at her career, Vonn appeared in four Olympic games from 2002 to 2018. She has been remarkable and has pretty much dominated the sport. Having moved away from the sport, she now focuses on her business and her foundation. She has also launched her book called ‘Rise: My Story.’
