Lindsey Vonn’s adventures unfold on Instagram

In a recent Instagram post, Vonn showcased an impressive surfing performance. She captioned, How it started”. Initially encountering a stumble, she refused to concede, eventually mastering the waves with grace. As time elapsed, she surfed as though effortlessly dancing with the ocean, displaying a prowess that suggested a lifetime of surfing experience. As she added, How it ended”.

On November 26th, Lindsey Vonn shared a comical reel on Instagram featuring her paddleboarding with her dog, initially enjoying a serene moment until a green ball interrupts. Attempting to retrieve the ball with her paddle, her enthusiastic pup beats her to it, causing both to tumble into the water. Two onlookers on a jet ski witnessed the amusing mishap, leading to shared laughter. Vonn humorously captioned the video, noting the onlookers’ reaction. While this adorable incident delighted fans, prior to this, Vonn had a serious encounter while surfing, getting stung by a large jellyfish, leaving a visible mark on her thigh.

From ski slopes to sunlit shores

Lindsey Vonn, the former Olympic Alpine ski racer, reveals her newfound contentment in Miami after purchasing a waterfront home in 2022. Admitting her dislike for cold weather despite her Minnesota roots, Vonn expresses, “I’m not a cold weather person,” she tells PEOPLE. “I’m finally thawing out.”

However, Vonn’s pride lies in heading the Lindsey Vonn Foundation, inspired by her idol Picabo Street, which supports young girls through empowerment camps and scholarships. Reflecting on her journey, “I was trying to think of something positive that I could do with my time instead of just sitting there and being depressed, she says. Despite relishing retirement and her Miami lifestyle, Vonn acknowledges her enduring love for skiing and the irreplaceable thrill of hurtling down mountains at exhilarating speeds.
