The Olympic legend, Usain Bolt, was once best friends with the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry. Notably, the duo was pretty close back in the day. However, in the past few years, they have lost touch.

Before getting married, Prince Harry used to socialize with the eight-time Olympic gold medalist. Now, Bolt revealed the real reason for them not being friends anymore.

Usain Bolt thinks Prince Harry left his bachelor life behind

Usain Bolt and Prince Harry had first met in 2012, at Harry’s Caribbean tour. Prince Harry had smartly defeated the world’s fastest man by jumping the gun start, outrunning Bolt. However, after marrying Meghan, Harry has lost touch with not only Usain but his Army and other celebrity friends as well.

Meghan and Prince Harry are now living in the US after moving out from the UK. Bolt revealed Prince Harry’s married life was the deal-breaker of their friendship. ?I think he got really serious, really quickly. He is about married life and good for it now, so has left that life behind now,” Bolt said.

Notably, the Jamaican sprinter missed his old pal as he said, ?I haven?t talked to him in a while but I still would like to keep in contact.?

Bolt had planned to give Harry three stags before his marriage

Usain Bolt wanted to give his best friend three stags before he officially got married. He had planned one in Kingston, one in Vegas, and one in London; however, he couldn’t. He also revealed jokingly four years ago, ” I know it’s a lot to ask but these are his last nights of freedom. I will personally call Meghan and take responsibility for getting him home safely after each.”

Undeniably, Prince Harry has been occupied with a plethora of things since his marriage. However, it would be nice to see the two old friends catch up sometime soon.
