As per recent news, Usain Bolt has joined an e-sports company, ‘WYLDE’ as co-owner. The Olympic champion announced this news last week. WYLDE was founded in 2020 by Steve Daly and David Cronin. The company’s motto is to change the e-sports perspective.

Many games over the years have caught the attention of people. People of all ages are interested in playing a segment of video games. Bolt recently revealed that he is also into video gaming. Therefore, he believes that he will be able to contribute to the organization positively.

As the pandemic is slowing down and the world is getting back on its feet again, Bolt also opened up about track and field and his possible comeback into sports.

“I’ve been asked questions that if I could compete in an empty stadium and that would have been very hard for me.”?As an athlete, the crowd is Bolt’s biggest motivator.?

“And I mean I feed off the crowd over the years and I’m happy to see that a pandemic is coming to end.”

Bolt has revealed that he very much looks forward to working with WLYDE. Together, they will identify talents across the world and commit to diversity.

?I look forward to working with the WYLDE leadership team to help our players to reach their potential, while also taking care of their physical and mental wellbeing,? said the 8-time Olympic medalist.

Along with Bolt, WLDYE has plans to venture into Jamaica and ensure the future of gaming talents there. Notably, the company already has an established academy for its talent.
