”Nothing New for America”: US Olympic Star Trolls Dallas Cowboys After Elimination From NFL Playoffs

The Dallas Cowboys had an embarrassing loss in the Wild Card game, as they bid goodbye to their NFL playoff dreams. However, while NFL fans were already slamming them, US Olympic star Fred Kerley also dived into banter.

Track and field fame, Fred Kerley, recently won his maiden Olympic medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The young star trolled the NFL team, saying what many might have thought but not said.

Fred Kerley throws shade at the Dallas Cowboys

Popularly known as the ‘America’s team’, Dallas Cowboys, had a dramatic exit from the NFL Playoffs after losing the Wild Card match to the San Francisco 49ers. Notably, the Dallas Cowboys were eyed as a Super Bowl contender this year and yet failed to move beyond the Wild Cards.

Interestingly, they were also the favorites in the match to win over the 49ers, as they were three-point favorites. Following their loss, US track and field star Fred Kerley also took the moment to slam the Dallas Cowboys aka the ‘American team’ after their defeat.

Fred tweeted saying, ”Nothing New For America team.”

With this defeat, Dallas Cowboys now have a losing streak of 11 out of 17 play-off matches. From faking a punt to getting 14 penalties, it was an upsetting day for the team. While they could not excel in their season, Fred is all set to break records in the 2022 season.

Fred is ready to dominate the track and field sport

2021 was an incredible season for Fred as he secured the silver Olympic medal at the Tokyo Games in the 100m race. Remarkably, what differentiated him from other stars was his versatile performance. Fred had started his career in 400m races but switched to 100m for the mega-quadrennial games. And, he successfully aced all three of them at the World Championships.

The US athlete became the first man ever to win the Diamond League title in 100m, 200m and 400m races. Making some roars before the season starts, Fred tweeted saying, ‘‘We on a different level this year record will be broken. Say no more.”
