While Sha’Carri Richardson has thrilled fans with her wins in the Miramar Invitational, Doha Diamond League meet, and Kip Keino Classic, her journey hasn’t been easy. Receiving negative publicity after failing to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics after the detection of marijuana in her body, the Dallas tracks star went through a difficult phase. Several fans who downplayed her achievements and compared her with Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce also made it important for the athletics champion to prove herself.
Recently, Richardson once again awed fans with her performance at the Los Angeles Grand Prix event. Richardson participated in the semi-finals of this event where she finished the race in a mere 10.90 seconds. This helped her qualify for the last round. Though the tracks and field athlete opted out of this last round apparently due to body pain, she was proud of having given her best in the event’s semifinals. Elated, the tracks athlete shared an amazing glimpse of her memorable race in the Los Angeles Grand Prix on Instagram.
