In a recent study, runners were given a wide range of music to listen to as they ran. It was discovered that runners who listened to Drake ran much slower than those listening to any other artist. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing.
Fashion site Pour Moi conducted this study. They analyzed 60 different runs of different lengths. During each run, the runners were given varied playlists. Some of the artists included Kanye West, Cardi B, BTS, Doja Cat, Beyonce, and others respectively. The study found that runners had different timings depending on which music they listened to.

Is running at a slow-speed bad for you?
Turns out, running at a slower pace is necessarily bad. It actually has more benefits than completing that race at a faster pace.
The Lower Intensity Steady Rate or the LISS helps keep the heart at a consistent pace. This is more beneficial because it gives you endurance a boost and promoted better blood flow. This in turn will help the runner recover faster.? Running at a slower pace also prevents the runner from sweating profusely after completing the run.
