His world championship debut was a decade ago. However, triumph eluded the badminton star more than ever. For the next consecutive world championships, he would fall short of a win. With the Pan American games right here, he is looking forward to tasting the victory once again. He is ready for the challenge ahead as he breaks out of his winning drought. And with his latest update, he very much looks set on that goal.

He will look forward to repeating his performance against Anuoluwapo Juwon Opeyori at the world championship. He defeated the Nigerian player in a very close match with the scoreboard reading 21-18 13-21 21-19. Looking for a win at Pan American Games

Howard Shu will be facing Argentina’s Otero Santiago Adrian in his first match of the games. Shu is an experienced player and the Argentinian player might not pose much threat to Shu. Their round of 32 games will be in the court 2 of Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico. This might be one of the last Pan Am games for him. By the end of his career, he would be looking forward to scoring a few medal runs, making sure Paris Olympics 2024 is one of them.
