And recently, the Yankees legend, CC Sabathia, did something that might trigger that bad blood and enrage Red Sox fans.

Notably, the Yankees and the Red Sox have been rivals in MLB for ages. Whenever and wherever fans of one get a chance to provoke the other, they never miss.

And the recent example of the same came from none other than former MLB player and New York Yankees legend, CC Sabathia.

CC Sabathia trolls arch-rival Boston Red Sox

The rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox is so wild that not only the fans but also players of both sides never miss an opportunity to troll or take a dig on the opposition team. Proving his loyalty, the Yankees legend CC Sabathia’s recent action has definitely triggered the Red Sox fans.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sabathia was in Boston. And being a true Yankee, the MLB legend indirectly trolled the arch-rivals Boston Red Sox.

When Sabathia was in Boston, he wore his Yankees sweater as he played tourist in the city. The Yankees legend even posted a picture on his Instagram page and captioned his outfit as ‘Appropriate’. “In Boston for the day thought this sweater was appropriate,” wrote Sabathia.

Well, before Sabathia, renowned actor John Krasinski did something similar a while ago. But that didn’t go well for The Office fame.

Notably, Krasinski belongs from Boston and is a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox. But, The Office actor had a bizarre experience in New York which he revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

When John was in New York once, he was sporting Red Sox gear. And watching John in Red Sox gear while in New York triggered a Yankees fan. Making his emotions heard, the Yankees fan threw a cheese bagel from his car on Krasinski’s back.
