Recently, Chicago Cubs star pitcher Marcus Stroman hilariously trolled New York Mets’ Trevor May for his catch miss during the 2021 season.

Stroman, who himself played for New York Mets in 2019 and 2021, signed a three-year deal worth $71 million with Chicago Cubs this season. Notably, Stroman made his Major League Baseball debut with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2014 and played five seasons for the Jays, from 2014 to 2019.

Marcus Stroman on Mets’ Trevor May’s catch miss
The Cubs pitcher hilariously trolled Trevor May on Twitter for his catch miss in one of the matches during the 2021 season. Mets’ first baseman, Trevor May, on Friday, uploaded a short video on his Twitter account. In the video, May is running towards the ball hit by Jesús Aguilar of Miami Marlins and ends up missing the catch.

Reacting to this short video, Stroman trolled him on the microblogging site and said that he thought May was going to make this play look easy.

This incident took place during the match between Miami Marlins vs New York Mets at the Marlins Park in September 2021. When May pitched to Jesús Aguilar and the Merlins first baseman hit the ball in the air, May couldn’t catch the ball in his hand despite reaching at the spot on time.

Who is Trevor May?
Trevor May made his debut in Major League Baseball with Minnesota in 2014 and played a total of six seasons with the Twins from 2014 to 2016 and 2018 to 2020. Later in 2020, before the 2021 season, he signed a two-year contract worth $15.5 million with the New York Mets. And since then he has been playing for the Mets.
