Los Angeles Angels star, Shohei Ohtani, is one of the most popular faces in Major League Baseball. Considering his popularity and his all-around skills on the field, any team would want to keep him by their side. But, his current team, LA Angels, will not let that happen so easily.

Notably, Ohtani’s contract with the Angels will expire after the 2024 season, if he doesn’t extend his contract. And that is something which the Angels might not want at any cost. Recently, the former President of Miami Marlins, David P. Samson, also admitted his love for Ohtani.

Notably, extending Ohtani’s contract had to be one of them. But the two other steps might be troubling for some of the Angels fans. Samson replied that first, he would suspend the Angels’ owner, Arte Moreno, and secondly, he would trade the third baseman, Anthony Rendon. Last but not the least, Samson said that he would want to extend Ohtani’s contract.
