Major League Baseball is finally back in action as the owners and players have agreed upon the new collective bargaining agreement. With this news coming out on Thursday, MLB fans found themselves over the moon, while baseball players also celebrated the end of the lockout in MLB.

The three-month lockout seemed like forever in Major League Baseball. But the two sides finally agreed on the new CBA, which will last for the next five years. This was the first lockout in the last 27 years, which also had affected the 1994 and 1995 seasons.

But thankfully, even after the delay in the regular season, the league has not lost any games this season. And as soon as MLB announced the CBA deal, baseball players couldn’t stop themselves, but show their excitement for the new season.

The news of MLB ending lockout spread like wildfire among the players. And why not, according to ace journalist Jeff Passan, spring training will also start this Friday. Though the league has not lost any games, the regular season will start on April 7. The Opening Day will start with a blockbuster match between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.
