San Francisco Giants have officially announced that during the 2022 season, they will retire the jersey number of their legendary player Will Clark. Fans had been seeking this move for a while, and now they’ll finally witness the honour being bestowed on ‘Will The Thrill’.

According to MLB, they had initially announced to retire Clark’s jersey during the 2020 season. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 season was postponed, and when the games restarted, the fans were not allowed in the stadiums. That was the main reason the Giants kept pushing the jersey retirement event. However, this time, fans might actually attend the ceremony at Oracle Park.
