Taking some strong decisions to strengthen his chances, Correa hired professional American baseball agent, Scott Boras. Revealing why Correa picked him, Scott said, ”He made a decision he wanted baseball expertise. He wanted people he knew were 24-7 baseball like him and we are at the ballpark every night. We know the data we have an extraordinary database, he loves to work with.”

“He’s truly a baseball player….and made that realization he wanted people most like him & exclusively baseball.”

Interestingly, Carlos’ decision is right on target for his $300 million above deal, as Scott’s past experiences make Correa’s huge deal chances optimistic.

The other big names he has worked with are Marcus Semien, Stephen Strasburg, and Anthony Rendon. Remarkably, these deals have some bright numbers, and one would expect nothing less than $300 million for Carlos if Scott is the negotiator.
