Carlos Correa hits back at White Sox

The Guaranteed Rate Field saw the Astros clinch their way to the ALCS. Astros defeated White Sox in 3 out of 4 games to win the ALDS. Although, Chicago White Sox’s Ryan Tepera wasn’t convinced with the win. Ryan attacked the Astros by saying, “They’ve had a reputation of doing some sketchy stuff over there.”

Carlos Correa of the Astros was asked his views on the comment, and he decided to respond with facts instead of more allegations.

Carlos said, “Disrespectful words with no facts with nothing to say. We scored six runs at home, then we scored, what, like nine? Then we scored six again here, they just happened to score 12. And then you look at our OPS on the road that’s the best in all the big leagues through a 162-game season which we played 81 on the road. Their OPS was a lot higher at home than it was on the road. He needs to know the facts.”

Correa is well aware of the stats, and they all check out. Regardless of the comments, Houston Astros are through to the ALCS, and White Sox will not be competing anymore this season.
