2021 is a year of celebration for the Atlanta Braves star shortstop, Dansby Swanson. Alongside the Braves, he clinched a historic World Series title. In addition, now, he just announced his engagement with USWNT star, Mallory Pugh.

Leaving fans in awe, Dansby is officially engaged to his girlfriend, Mallory Pugh. Notably, Mallory is also a star in her own field, who plays for the United States women’s national soccer team.

27-year-old Dansby Swanson has been part of the now World Series champions, the Atlanta Braves since 2015. Moreover, the baseball ace player has been dating the USWNT star since 2017.

Mallory took a moment to share the wonderful news with fans on her Instagram. She posted a dreamy picture of Dansby on his knees with a ring, while looking overjoyed and ecstatic with his grand proposal, surrounded by beautiful balloons and the brightest of sunrays. Posting the picture, 23-year-old Mallory wrote, ”Forever with you ♥️.”

Interestingly, the athletic couple was introduced to each other by a former Braves star. Jace Peterson, who is married to Mallory’s sister, Brianna Pugh, was the matchmaker for the newly engaged duo.

Dansby Swanson smashed 27 home runs, recorded 88 RBIs with 78 runs. Clearly, the couple is having the best time of their lives in their career, as well as in their relationship. Surely, they will have a stellar run in their new journey as well.
