Former US President Donald Trump to Attend MLB World Series Game in Posh Accommodations

The baseball world is enjoying the intense battle for the MLB World Series title between Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros. Former American president, and baseball fan, Donald Trump couldn’t have missed the epic showdown.

Donald Trump will attend game four of the World Series to be held in Atlanta. Interestingly, Braves and Astros both have one game win in the series.

Donald Trump will watch the MLB game in a suite

The Atlanta Braves vs Houston Astros MLB World Series game four will take place on 30th October, Saturday. Game four will happen at the home ground of Braves, the Truist Park.

The Atlanta CEO Terry McGuirk revealed Donald Trump had approached them for match tickets. “He called MLB and wanted to come to the game. We were very surprised. Of course, we said yes.’’

McGuirk also said Trump would not be watching the match in stands or with MLB or club officials. “We are going to give him his own suite,’’ Terry said.

This is not the first time the former president will attend the World Series. In 2017, Trump had attended the Houston Astros vs Washington Nationals, World Series game. Although, the fans weren’t thrilled by his appearance. Trump was greeted by a thunderous chorus of boos from the baseball fans. Later on, the White House invited the winning team, Houston Astros.

Houston Astros battled the odds to reach the World Series 2021

After knocking out their respective counterparts in the American and National league, the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros reached the World Series. Astros are more experienced in the World series compared to the Braves in recent years. Notably, for the first time since 1999, the Braves have clinched their berth to the World Series.

The teams have already clashed in two games and will compete in game three on Friday night.
