However, Carlos got himself into the bad books of the Yankees fans when he commented on their legend, Derek Jeter. Correa made a huge statement attacking the Yankees stars’ five-time gold glove glory. Correa said,” Derek Jeter didn’t deserve any.”

Interestingly, an old video is now surfacing on Twitter, showing Correa’s drastically different views on Jeter in 2014. CBSS Sports HQ producer, Lucas Frankel tweeted the video, leaving fans puzzled.

Correa said, “I idolize Derek Jeter. I always follow him, I always look up to him, because he was a great player plus he was a great person. So, Derek Jeter is the person I always look up to.”

However, while Carlos threw shade at Derek, the latter chose not to backfire.
