Marcus Stroman is not someone who walks away easily from people trying to pull him down. Instead, he fights back and takes a stand, like he recently did with a rather disrespectful New York Yankees fan.

In his classic style, Marcus thrashed the Yankees fan over Twitter, who tried to attack his pitching skills. Not to forget, Stroman has always had a bitter relationship with the New York Yankees after their GM referred to him as “not a difference-maker” back in 2019.

Marcus Stroman thrashed New York Yankees fan

It all started when a Twitter user photoshopped Marcus into the New York Yankees’ stripes. Notably, following a stellar run with the New York Mets in 2021, Marcus is now a free agent, in search of a new franchise for next season.

Regardless of that, the baseball pitching star replied to the tweet, dismissing the thought right away. Marcus posted a GIF of a man, smiling and then driving away, clearly hinting that he has no intentions of joining the Yankees for the 2022 season.

Replying to his GIF, a Yankees fan tweeted saying, “U don’t like us man what’s the reason lmaooo. Doesn’t matter u never pitched an important game in ur life hold it.”

Going against his advice, Marcus did not hold back and said, “You mad because that crazy payroll continues to let you down year after year? Get off my page and go communicate with the front office bitter boy. Lmao 🤡😂.”

Marcus Stroman states facts to another Yankees fan

Coming to the fans’ aid, more Yankees supporters joined the rampage; albeit, Marcus is a one-man army who fears no one. Another fan wrote, “The Mets had the 3rd most… and didn’t make playoffs yankees had 2nd and did 🤔”

Bringing out the big guns, Marcus hit back with some more facts himself, leaving the fan speechless. He said, “Yankees haven’t won a World Series since 2009. They routinely spend more than any other team and acquire the biggest names at every trade deadline. The way the spend and players they get should result in much more success than they’ve had…you don’t agree?”

In Marcus’ defense, the Yankees did have a disappointing exit from the 2021 season, failing to reach the World Series, despite having a star-studded squad.

With the off-season controversies making the rounds of the internet, and free agency bidding wars serving their own drama, things are about to get intense. In the midst of this, where Marcus Stroman will play next, is also something that remains to be seen. However, what is for sure is that he won’t be playing for the New York Yankees.
