While teams, managers, and front offices leave no stone unturned to freeze the top players in MLB free agency, fans too are doing their all to attract players to the team. Sadly, though, the MLB lockout has put a pause on franchises communicating with the players. Hence, Chicago Cubs’ fans took it upon themselves to win over the man in demand, Carlos Correa.

Carlos Correa is one of the top shortstops left in the free agency, and many reports have revealed the Cubs’ interest in acquiring him. Hence, Chicago Cubs’ fans were seen singing a famous Christmas carol, adding Correa’s name to the song.

According to a report, not only the management, but Carlos might also be interested in joining the Chicago team. Carlos had approached a former Cubs player, Javy Báez. Notably, baseball’s top shortstop inquired about the team, and about Javy’s experience playing on the North Side.

However, it has to be noted that Carlos is aiming for a deal worth a whopping $300 million and more. If the Cubs want him on their side, they have to be willing to shell out big bucks for the same.
