The Atlanta Braves clinched a historical victory on Saturday night, as the team entered the World Series. Notably, it’s the first time since 1999, the franchise is going to compete in the World Series.

The Braves outshined their competitors and favorites to win the series, the Los Angeles Dodgers. Braves victory was the courtesy of Eddie Rosario’s three-run homer, clinching the game by 4-2.

Entering the National League Championship Series, the reigning champions, Los Angeles Dodgers were favored to seal the victory. However, since game one, the Atlanta Braves were dominating over the Dodgers. Notably, they had grabbed the first two-game win.

Dodgers tried to make a comeback winning two games, albeit it fell short, as the Braves won four games. On Saturday night, the Braves and Dodgers had entered the game six out of seven series.

In-game six, Braves had a good start securing run in the first innings, but the Dodgers tried to make a comeback. But Braves had Eddie Rosario, who turned out to be the hero of the day. Eddie smashed a perfect three-run-homer, securing the lead for his team. Undoubtedly, the 4-2 lead was the outcome of Eddie’s heroics.

Well-deservingly, Eddie Rosario won the NLCS MVP title. Being a dynamic player, Eddie had a rewarding post-season. Rosario is one of the few five players in history to secure 14 hits in the postseason series. Adding more to his achievements, he is the only three qualified players who have hit .560 or better in a series.
