The “Cardinal and Gold” of beach volleyball recently created ripples with their performance in the 2023 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships. Kelly Cheng and Sarah Hughes defeated Patricia and Duda of Brazil, breaking the 14-year-old draught of a world title. They set a fabulous example of understanding as they became the strongest Olympic gold contenders after not even playing together for long.

Taking a cue from these seniors’ triumph, the U21 teams will surely help the players to continue the victorious campaign at the championship. And hopefully finishing it at the top of the podium. There is still a distance of victory left to achieve for all the Team USA pairs. But with the mindset of champion and determination, it will become much shorter. All the teams have started victorious except Fernandez and Perez, who will be starting their campaign on 9th November 2023, hopefully starting off with a victory.
