Shaun White is the most trending name right now on the internet. His retirement has brought an avalanche of posts on social media, where almost every celebrity is congratulating the legend for an incredible career. People had become used to seeing Shaun on the ice and now that he had left, snowboarding will never be the same.

The American legend has ruled snowboarding for 20 years, clinching every known record in what could be considered the most incredible sports career ever. The three-time Olympic gold medalist could not win his fourth gold at Beijing Winter Olympics, but he has given enough to cheer for a lifetime.

Joining the party now are the American celebrities, Paul Wesley and Joe Jonas. Both of them have shared stories on Instagram congratulating Shaun White on an amazing career that he has led. The Vampire Diary actor wrote,What a legacy. Congrats on dominating for 20 years.”

Goodbye Shaun White

The champion has finally said goodbye to the sport he has ruled for over 20 years. As he performed his final run at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, he couldn’t hold his emotions. Though the champion was proud of all he had done in his career and said, “The thing I’m the most proud of would be staying on top of a sport that’s ever changing as long as I have.”

What he has done during his entire career is a far-fetched dream for everyone. He has given fans enough moments to cherish and now it’s time for the champion should move on to some other life adventures. As for his legacy, Joe Jonas indeed said it aptly. “Your legacy will live on forever.”
