People had become used to seeing Shaun on the ice and now that he had left, snowboarding will never be the same.

The American legend has ruled snowboarding for 20 years, clinching every known record in what could be considered the most incredible sports career ever. The three-time Olympic gold medalist could not win his fourth gold at Beijing Winter Olympics, but he has given enough to cheer for a lifetime.

The champion has finally said goodbye to the sport he has ruled for over 20 years. As he performed his final run at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, he couldn’t hold his emotions.
