Figure skating was one of the top sports at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 and Nathan Chen made it even more memorable with his exquisite performance in the finals. He performed to the famous track ‘Rocketman’ by the British composer, Sir Elton John, and won his first-ever Olympic gold medal.

Now, the Olympic champion is enjoying the perks of his triumphant win, even after a week of the Beijing Winter Games closing ceremony. Almost every media house is eager to get an interview with the star, who has already made several TV appearances since coming back from Beijing. This time, in yet another appearance on a talk show, the 22-year-old figure skater opened up about the forthcoming team tour.

Nathan Chen will hit the road performing “Stars on Ice”
Nathan has revealed about a road tour that he’ll be part of along with the US Olympic team. They’ll be performing skating shows in various locations across the country. On the question about what the people should expect from this tour, he said, “It’s the whole US Olympic team, we get to come together. It is really celebratory for us you know we just like have fun with the tour.”

The Olympic champion further added, “It’s cool because we are able to perform in places that I don’t think skating would go to or we wouldn’t see ourselves end up there if not for this tour. Not that skating doesn’t exist in these locations, but it’s cool to have all of us there at once, yeah it’s a lot of fun.”
