Despite being two incredibly talented Asian-American figure skaters who are pretty much the same age, Nathan and Karen are not siblings.

Chen is the youngest of five siblings, and he only has two sisters- Alice and Janice Chen.

Nathan Chen has quite a big family, being the youngest of five siblings. Chen has two brothers and two sisters.

Unlike his USA teammate Karen, Alice Chen is indeed biologically related to Nathan. The oldest of all Chen siblings, Chen has an impressive profile, having handled the social media aspects for Hello Sunshine and Apple News.

Nathan’s other sister, Janice Chen, too, is equally impressive in her field. She co-founded Mammoth Biosciences, dealing with disease detection, research, agriculture, biodefense, and more through genetic rewriting.

In 2018, Janice also gave a TEDx talk, which Nathan had reposted on his Twitter account, exclaiming his pride.

Then, Nathan Chen has elder brothers, Tony and Colin. In fact, in a way, they are the reason that Nathan took to his sport. Chen had revealed that looking at his brothers play ice hockey had made him obsessed with the ice and the adrenalin rush it gave him.
