While Aleksander Kilde won his second medal in the Beijing Olympics yesterday, Mikaela Shiffrin has had a tough-luck this season. However, they are facing everything together by being each other’s pillar of support.

Both the athletes are sharing heartwarming messages for each other on their social media handles. When Mikaela failed at her super-G event, Kilde posted a beautiful message for his girlfriend, comforting her through disappointments.

Aleksander Kilde won the silver medal in the Alpine combined race yesterday, and now has two medals in the Winter Olympics. He got a perfect congratulation from girlfriend Mikaela Shiffrin with a Twitter post.

Although the Norwegian ski racer was the favorite for the downhill event, he finished in fifth place at that event. However, he managed a silver medal in slalom, which was quite unexpected.

On Monday, Mikaela made a mistake at her event and was disqualified from the women’s giant slalom competition. It was a very disappointing moment for the two-time Olympic gold medalist, as she was the major contender for gold in Beijing. However, when the world was criticizing the champion skier for her mistake, her boyfriend came ahead in her support.
