The duo are great friends, as Rock supported Vonn’s fight with injuries. Chiefly, he talked about Lindsey Vonn overcoming injuries in her career. Some of her injuries are permanent and she is not in the best of shape right now.

With one’s knees providing the balance and the main component of an Alpine skier, Vonn’s right knee is permanently damaged. Thus, with all the problems she has, the famous actor and WWE superstar, the Rock, voiced out his support for the talented athlete.

“We’ve had some really fun talks, and about our injuries. Her laundry list of injuries that she has had to overcome is really extraordinary. She is in a very rare air when it comes to overcoming adversities,” said Johnson.

The American has suffered many injuries like torn ACLs, fractures near her left knee, a broken ankle, concussions, and much more. With all the stress she went through in her life, Vonn is happily retired. Moreover, she traveled to China to join the NBC commentary for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

As a pro-athlete himself, the Rock has had injuries too. With the WWE known for its fast-paced action and scary bumps, the Rock is accustomed to injuries as well. But unlike him, Vonn is happy to retire, with no regrets whatsoever.

“Honestly, retiring isn’t what upsets me. Retiring without reaching my goal is what will stay with me forever. However, I can look back at 82 World Cup wins, 20 World Cup titles, 3 Olympic medals, 7 World Championship medals and say that I have accomplished something that no other woman in HISTORY has ever done, and that is something that I will be proud of FOREVER!,” said Vonn.
